Industrial Poles & Masts (Pty) Ltd a manufacturing and supply company of steel street lighting poles, masts, transmission line poles, traffic signal poles, lightining conductor poles, decorative poles.
 
Our production plant consists of Two x 3000mē workshops. Storage space totals to 6000mē under concrete. The plant is well equipped with two X 3 ton overhead cranes as well as a 2 X ton overhead crane. IPM has it's own 250kvA generator, Two swaged machines, drilling machines, band saws, Profile cutters etc.
 
IPM is a Black Economic Empowered company since 2004.We are classified as a level 2 company with 25% black ownership. IPM is also an ISO 9001:2008 certified company.

ISO 9001:2008 is a quality management System  and is audited by the SABS anually.

The company adheres to the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993.  The company is also registered with all statutory bodies.
 
IPM remains to be the leading steel pole manufacturing company in South Africa and over the past 25 years an obsession with accuracy and a desire for aesthetic appeal has permeated the entire company of Industrial Poles & Masts (Pty) ltd.

Therefore we entered the market of transmission KV line poles for Eskom and subcontractors with the help of our structural engineer John Duncan we have designed our own structural poles for any KV line specification. We are also involved in fabricated steelwork for substations.

John Duncan, IPM's Pr structural engineer with more than 30 year's experience In the steel industry wrote and designed our computer design and quoting system. John has been with IPM since 1985 during which time literally thousands of quotes and designs have been prepared, all within twenty four hours from the time of enquiry.
